No one outside of Sega knows if there will be a western release or not at this point.


EDIT: But on the upside, the game is supposedly region 0(works on consoles of all regions) on both consoles and has full English available from the get-go so importing is an option.

And BTW, what is that character in your avatar? Looks familiar.

I thought they had the north American version ready to ship? Sega better not do us dirty like that...

I've never imported a game before, but there could always be a first. I'll be thinking about it...

Well, keep in mind Sega is run by a bunch of people that make Tira seem stable and sensible. The game essentially only needs the packaging, default settings, and title screen changed to be released in the west, but someone needs to pay for printing the localized copies and to ship it as well. With only something in the nature of 80,000 units sold in Japan up to this point(mind you: Japan being where this genre is more profitable), no one is going to be lining up around the corner to release it in the west where it's doomed to failure due to the fact that it isn't an FPS. *IF* it gets a western release, expect it to hit the bargain bin in weeks and for no one to actually be playing it. Which is bad because it doesn't really have local co-op :/
