Anarchy Reigns (Max Anarchy)

Aw, this one is on my must-have list this year as well. SCV was the only other game on that list :)

I really hope Sega doesn't fumble the western release though, it looks like a lot of fun honestly. Even if it is a niche title being developed by Platinum and all, the promise of a full 16 player match sounds delightfully chaotic. Even more so if Bayonetta and Fei Rin aren't the onyl characters people use heheh.
 
Dude, nobody told me there was female Bruce Lee in the game! Haha, I must have missed the trailer for Ai Rin... she looks awesome! To be honest, most of them do. I'm more drawn to the characters that look like there from some weird Japan-inspired post-apocolypse, ya know? The character-design that I probably wouldn't be able to see anywhere else.

I think the game reminds me most of Iron Phoenix, although not unbelievable shitty. I've got a ton of confidence in this game, mainly because I know that Platinum games is going to channel all of their... stuff into it, ya know? The studio has a really strong pedigree... their last few games really show that they have an incredible understanding of fighting-game concepts (Bayonetta) and flow (Vanquish). You can see videos of how creative people were able to be in Bayonetta's combat-system, and how perfectly player-skill is rewarded by, say, high scores (and more importantly, how it's an actual factor in gameplay) in Vanquish (as compared to the campaign of CoD or something). I really can't see this game being a let-down.

Holy shit. I had no idea there'd be kaiju-sized monsters in it. Uh...wow. It just sounds better and better all the time.
