Alternative Controller for Xbox

I'd imagine there be some lag with that xcm device, even though its probably minimal. Anyone know where I might be able to find a way to make the Mad Catz SF TE stick dual compatible via hardware mod? A schematic maybe? parts? I have the PS3 version of the stick and I like to add xbox 360 compatibility with it.

I'll be modding my TE stick for xbox as well and yes there are parts. Where to buy i don't know yet, but there are tutorials i've seen that allow of dual compatibility INSIDE the stick. Whether the lag is an issue I don't know. But I hate how many friends have 360 and I'm forced to use that crap ass controller and not my stick.

Well the simple answer would be to get a PS3. :-)

Jokes aside, the X360 pad is awful for fighters but great for shooters. I think the route you should take should be dependent on how often you are going to play fighting games. If you are just going to be playing them every now and then, you could do like I did and swap the D-pad from the X360 with one from an old small Xbox controller. They're like $10 bucks now or less. Plus they look better than the standard d-pad.

If you forsee yourself down the road playing them alot, then I would invest in a stick. If you're not competing in any tournaments, then go with a converter for a PS pad since lag won't be as much of a concern.
