I know it sounds stupid. But forgive me I am new.

I need help with the terminology of this site. I have the basics ie. A-X B-Y ect. and also the numbers are directions. But pretty much everything else is quiet baffling. Can someone be kind enuff to help me out please.

first off

Welcome to 8wayrun. Some of the notations can be really confusing at first. check this thread

there are also notations that are character specific, usually indicating the stance that the particular move comes out of.
example: Maxi has 6 stances, they are

RO
LO
RC
LI
BL
WL
so you will see notations like: 6A RO A, 4B LO K or CH3B RO A psl2 RC A
just to name a few. Hopefully that newbie silencer (dont be offended by the name) will help you out. Anything else feel free to send me a message
