I would cook for my significant other if I wasn't afraid of my terrible cooking achieving sentience and attempting a hostile takeover of my kitchen.
Sticking things in the microwave is about the extent of my "abilities".

Krit had it right. I was totally trying to be funny. apparently a few of you got it. My old lady treats me like a king and i treat her like my queen. Anything I post that says other wise is usually me being full of shit.
When you have been together for as long as we have (14 years...since beggining of high school) you learn to love what the other does for you. Ill be honest it took about 5 years of eating crap food that she made (she will tell you herself) until little adjustments and stuff is made till they get it right for you. She doesnt work (thats my choice) so she is a very nuturing and caring person. She loves to take care of her family. I couldnt ask for anything more.
I got very lucky in finding a woman like her. If you find someone that is truely in love with you, something as trivial as cooking would be more of a pleasure than a chore (which most girls now days seem to look at cooking that way.) But to each.....his own. we are lick ricky and lucy, we get into all kinds of weird shit and our relationship is not the normal you would think.
EDIT: hell has no fury like a womans scorn........I know for experience that she hits hard as fuck. So please dont tell on me!!
