8WAYRUN.COM Servers Upgraded!

As of today, in addition to eAccelerator, we now have Memcached installed on the server!

Please inform me of any issues! SRK has caching on their server using APC, and things are all fucked up... hopefully Memcached isn't as problematic a situation as they are having. This should greatly reduce load during peak hours.
 
Well I think we may have hit the limits of a VPS... our growth here on 8WR is far beyond anything that what I've expected.

Speaking with our hosts, the bottleneck on our server is the amount of available memory. Right now, we are paying $85 a month, and getting 1408mb of RAM for our Virtual Private Server. I'm considering upgrading to a Hybrid Server, with 2048mb of RAM at $110 a month... Or possibly going for 4096mb of RAM at $160 a month.
 
Okay, I went with the $110 a month plan... if we need more, things can easily be upgraded down the line.

Everything is very snappy right now. Don't forget to donate and/or become a premium member to help us pay for these upgrades!
