So around here, we are toying with the idea of setting up a podcast for 8WayRun. We have a lot of ideas for topics to talk about: dealing with Hilde and Algol, World Cyber Games and how it affects us, Soulcalibur Broken Sword, etc... But before we can get all this stuff going, we need to get the equipment... and I'm broke.

So I'm asking if anyone wants to donate for the cause. The basics would be around $100-$150 for digital mixing software and hardware, plus the cost of four microphones in studio (about $30-$50 each), and possibly more mics to FedEx around the country so we can do interviews with players who aren't in our area.

oh shit, we're actually gonna go through with it. i'll chip in some cash for the cause just so long as i get a piece of the action
 
How long do you think you would have fresh content? Like... you talked about discussing anti Hilde and Algol tacs and stuff like that. But it seems like those topics would run dry after awhile... kind of how certain Soul Arenas do now. Or would it be more of a "getting to know the community" type of thing? Not hating or anything... just curious.
 
It would be both... interviews with the community, as well as specific topics. I will probably limit each episode to 1 hour, to make sure we don't exhaust topics too quickly.
 
A SCIV Podcast, ala Gootecks' SFIV Podcast? That would make me happy in the pants.

I'll probably make a donation sooner or later.
