Well it seems like they broke the rules, am I correct? I would think they would just be warned or penalized by their time, i dont really know.

They did the same thing in the world championships and it kinda ruined that competition. Afterwards they said they would use discretion when deciding these things. But GB DQ'd China DQ'd in the final as well lol.
