2009 NFL thread

I can't see the Niners winning more than 7 games tops this season. First-string offense looked dreadful this preseason. Shaun Hill can go, but he's not somebody who's gonna dazzle you with numbers. He's a game-manager at best. Why not spring for Jeff Garcia? Running attack shows depth with Glen Coffee and Kory Sheets, but passing is so meh. And Crab(apple)tree holding out isn't going to give the passing attack any help either.

Defense still missing that stud pass rusher, which as been the case for a better part of a decade now. The secondary is solid, but if a QB's got all day to make a sandwich and then decide who he's gonna throw it too, not even a defensive backfield full of Deion Sanders' is gonna help. :(
 
NFC Beast coast plays against the AFC we fucking blow ass and have Al Davis owning a team to boot West this year. If they lose one fucking game I'll be shocked, 12-0 in those games.

Don't sleep on the NFC Central, provided Favre realizes he has Peterson in his backfield, and Cutler can stfu. Packers looked awesome in the preseason.

Giants will win it all, of course.
 
Aw Kowtow, was waiting on the Buffalo report. I don't know when I can expect the Bills to do anything, altho they have kind of overachieved the past couple seasons. No real QB to get the ball to T.O. and what's his face, the No. 1 receiver. Do they still have Peerless Price? He used to be good till he was sad that he only caught like 97 balls as the No. 2 receiver and went to Atlanta, but I think I'm talking ancient history by NFL standards.

Anyway, Bills fan till I die, or till they get sold out and move to Toronto. Not expecting much, but will rub in every victory they get.
