2009 NFL thread

very sad not being able to finish games on either side of the ball..
i still say alex looks improved outside that 1 late throw to crabtree
dont know if he's the answer at qb though

I'm with you on the QB thing. Alex Smith has looked better, but ultimately what has been his major flaw is that when the game gets tight, he finds a way to fuck up royally.

The whole MO of the Niners this season has been a series of amazing come-from-ahead losses. Seriously, it's like Niners get a lead, sit back and say "We're good," bog down with unimaginative offense plus solid defense and then shit themselves when teams start rallying on them. Ugh. I don't want the Niners to just get a lead; I want them to start burying people when they're up.

What can I say, I was a little wary for a moment during yesterdays game... but as the trend goes for this season, the fucking New Orleans Saints hold off the Rams for yet another victory.

9-0

Geaux Saints!

I haven't watched much tv lately, has Mercury Morris' dumbass started making his shit talking rounds yet? Seems like it's about that time for him to come in claiming he was on the best team ever, lol.

Giants will have their shit straightened out by next week, hopefully. Still not a SB team with their lack of depth at secondary, though. You need depth to win in this game, no excuses.

It's still hard to believe the Patriots lost the way they did. After all week going back and forth on it and hearing all sides, I think it was not only a bad move to go for it on 4th and 2, but they could not of picked a worse play to do it with. It's easy getting over it, being a regular season game. It will be even easier if the Patriots can knock off the Jets this weekend.
