I don't get your point. Getting hit leads to taking damage, as in every fighting game. You're lucky to have any chance to get out once you have been hit, although you can feel free to not guess and just let them beat on you.

Thats good for emergencies but you want to try to counter them for the time when possible.

If you strafe them sideways away and forward you can actually be outside their attacks hitbox but inside counter range, it's pretty useful, especially if you aren't too good at the counter yet.

For the strelats pull out your boss killing weapons like magnums/grenade launcher/sniper. That and emergency combo saves is all they are really good for. In depths I usually just put three L-hawk shots into it and one or two into each shreiker.

Stun rod is top tier.

I have been pleasantly surprised so far. Game is pretty hilarious though, considering how coincidental explosions have opened the path like 500 times so far. It's like the devs just decided that whenever they didn't know how to remove something from the screen it would just explode.

I would rather they remade the gamecube remake again lol. That was was the peak of the series IMO.

Maybe it's a copyright thing, I remember hearing that type moon had nothing to do with the game. Pretty cool though.
