I know I saw. And again,
"frames are the smallest measurement of time in a game" -Sora. So I'm not seeing where you get this .6666666666666666 thing.
F
Final
So effective = broken now? you said EFFECTIVE as in it works, and it does, BROKEN is when you are super safe on top of all of this.
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
....... But you can't do the goddamn DNS B unless you do the input first <_< You can't do it independent of the input so the input adds to the frames it would take for the move to hit.

I was being sarcastic...

Game runs at 60 frames per second, a millisecond is 1/1000 a second, 1/60 is 0.016666~, so 16.6666~ milliseconds. This is simple math...
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
Even super safe doesn't always mean broken. Broken means no known tactic can counter said strategy. Safe =/= that.
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
Omfg when we're talking about time in fighting games, frames are the general accepted format. Why the fuck are you speaking in miliseconds then? I'm pretty sure you said a fraction of a frame.
F
Final
your definition of broken and mine are different. Broken to me is a rigid risk/reward, like viola 3B.
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
"10.92 frames where it takes good effect. 10.92 frames where it takes good effect.10.92 frames where it takes good effect.10.92 frames where it takes good effect.10.92 frames where it takes good effect." Stop changing the format and you will avoid confusion.
F
Final
because this came accepts inputs at 12~13 milliseconds, which means you can actually do 2 inputs a frame... so if you want to get down to ACTUAL inputs, you consider milliseconds, because saying frames is a gamble, i can give you the actual milliseconds for every just frame, if you would like, I have them all.
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
Well then"... You're wrong?"
-Some pretentious guy I'm talking to
F
Final
at 10.92 frames is when you can start your :4, so RIGHT BEFORE the 11th frame... its 182 MILLISECONDS, but you kids wanted it in FRAME format, so i converted it to frames for you.
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
Did I not just say that frames were the general accepted format? Why are you offering me miliseconds? Seriously it's needless conversions that you're trying to impose on this conversation to create some sort of veil of esotericism. It's not working.
F
Final
How fast can you input 236236 100% accurately?
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
e_e Stop trying to be derisive. You're not doing it right. Again, you're taking the impact frames out of context of the input. Let's just note that the situation where you do the move independent of the input DOES-NOT-EXIST-IN-THE-GAME. So, what is the FASTEST POSSIBLE TIME human hands can do the DNS input. Hm? <_< The 11 frames means nothing to me.
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
Not in 1 frame if that's what you're implying. <_< It's impossible. So, again, 11 frames means nothing.
F
Final
The answer is 4.68 frames, now you CAN do it at 9milliseconds an input, so 54 milliseconds, which is 3.24frames, but this has a fail risk, so if you input at 3.24, add in 10.92 frames, you have 14.16 frames, so DNS B can be 14.16 FRAMES, which is closer to 14 frames than 15 frames...
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
...... but what human player will input it in the quickest possible time every single time? Hm? 15 frames then. Jesus Christ. Are you always this circuitous with your reasoning?
F
Final
anyhow if you take off the stance transition, the b is 11 frames, which also means you can DELAY the DNS, if you are trying to find its punishing frames, you might consider it 15 frames, but if you are only considering its activation to impact, its 11 frames...
EmptySky00
EmptySky00
YOU. CAN'T. TAKE. OFF. THE. STANCE. TRANSITION. EVER.
