My poor car and my f'in neck.

HolyForce

I will show you...
It's not a Dodge Viper, but I really like my Grand Prix GTP (despite not being a 'car guy'). Well, some blonde chick ran into me today at approx. 40mph. So now I won't have it for a little while.

Surprisingly, other than the passenger-side exhaust getting fucked up and my trunk/bumper dented bad, I seemingly don't have much damage. Of course, it's being checked out.

Her car however; I think a Trailblazer (or something of that class) is so f'ed up it can't even move.

Who knew Pontiacs held together so well?

Regardless,

I'm off work today (actually my boss gave me the day off before I even had medical testing) and I'm on bedrest cuz my neck is wtfouch.

I was stopped at one-lane road construction when some chick from afar just never stopped.

I love you women drivers.

LOL.

dude.......you have had the worst luck in the last week!!!

im a car guy. i own a brake and alignment shop in san diego.l kinda hard to help out over the internet BUT: if there is any advice you need i can totally help you.

GTP grand prix superchagred? thats a well made car. they have few problems. good solid unibody frame. im not suprised your car came out better than hers. most cars now a days are made of almost completely fiberglass, plastic etc.

hit me up if you need help though

I never had any problems with the GTP (yeh, supercharged). Hopefully, it stays that way.

I'm just concerned that everything gets fixed (even the not-so-apparent stuff) that may have occured.

Since I got rear-ended at 40mph and from appearance my bumper and trunk are dented (trunk still works 100%), and my passenger-side exhaust is rammed into the car - can you think of anything beyond these two things I would now want to have investigated?

I'm totally amazed how well my car took the impact. It doesn't look that bad at a glance at all. Esp when you look at her car that looks like it was nuked. Perhaps my frame has issues now?

Awesome, so is this the official thread for Pontiac owners, or something? XD

Nah, I'm just kidding, but the Grand Prix was a good car, though. Probably one of the best looking sedans produced during that time IMO. Too bad they don't make them any more. :(
