I don't think it would do any harm to try this. And by "this" I mean jumping off a tall building.

It seems like common sense, but here's a tip: If someone you don't know sends you an e-mail offering you money...

See that's the thing, it is someone he knows, not only that but he got this email from a person who is fairly trustworthy and doesn't contact him for anything besides work. I suppose that fact can work both ways though.

End of story. This is complete bullshit and you're an IDIOT for even suggesting that it isn't. His friend's computer was infected with an IRC spam-bot trojan. This of course means that his computer is now a "Zombie PC" connected to something called a "Bot-Network". Now someone else has control of his machine and he is using it to send out bullshit spam like this.

Oh... contact your Uncle as well... he probably has the virus now too... the email is asking you to forward it to your entire contact list so that people will propagate the virus and the bot-net grows larger. NOOBS! They should require you to pass a test before you are permitted to use the internet.

Alright will do, but i doubt it was infected because he opened the e-mail on his iPhone and i doubt they can get viruses, correct me if im wrong. Anyways thanks Jaxel even if it was in cruel words.
