The Tournament Edition stick's solid enough since Madcatz didn't make the bulk of the parts. I gave up on the standard edition and went for a HRAP Ex.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that either. I don't see any problem with encouraging them to make good ones tho.

I got the TE stick and it's good...but then again I have SANWA parts not MadCatz parts...but it is built by them. TE stick is pretty good...but fuck is it sensitive. The keys not registering could simply be the people not letting go of the button fully. Any idling weight will register as down and pressing in will not execute a new button press. Takes practice as on a pad your constantly resting on the buttons till your ready to push.

However I like the thing now that I'm finally getting used to it. Don't know anything about the Fight Stick though.
