We wanted different things in life/His depression made him decide it wasn't worth "bringing me down" even though it's my choice whether or not I "have to deal with it" but hey whatever makes him happy or not.

Sorry to hear it man.
The worst part is that, as we lived together, I needed to sort out somewhere else to live, so I haven't really had the time to mope around and mourn the past 6 years as much as I probably should've.
Eh. Life.
