Things in Video Games that make you hate what you normally like in Real Life.

I wasn't really mentioning DEX at all. I don't know where he got that silly assumption haha.

Spanking not good m8s, if you think about what you are actually doing its a joke really. All it does is provoke a fear or hate response and you don't really want a child to be running away from you every time they fuck up. Education is best.

Spanking makes a child fear doing wrong. However, it's called tough love with parenting. My pops would spank me when I was a young lad doing bad things. He didn't like doing it, but it's why I have manners. After awhile, I've learned not to be a spoiled idiot. I mean, spanking is a joke if you're not doing it for the right reasons. When a child starts to fear you from the spanking, you gotta pick them up and show some love. A balance of love and discipline gives a child a reason to be accountable for anything. Education is a joke if the kid isn't told why it's important.

Stuff like "I don't want to go to school" or "hiding bad grades" can only be cured with spanking with explanation. Otherwise, why bother learning anything? Not to be high and mighty, but certain children nowadays need it. We're not killing them, we're setting them straight because we care. At the very least you have to force your kids to do right lest they won't respect, love, and fear whoever takes care of them.

Life is about common sense and choices, I've played violent videogames and watched violent movies and I'm just fi-

I'd probably spank you for being gay so we can be BFFs, but then you might start liking me for it......so I guess we should have a bromantic fanfic I guess?

A spanking discussion? dis gon b gud

All I'm gonna say is morality should be based on empathy and understanding, not fear of punishment. By spanking your children, you're creating the kind of person who only respects the law because there's cops around. I understand the need to reward positive behaviors and discourage negative ones, but there's a variety of more effective, less barbaric methods for this that don't result in fucked up adults.

However, it's called tough love with parenting.

Ideally, love shouldn't hurt at all but at the very least it shouldn't hurt physically. I don't want to bore you all with the details but my life alone is a good enough example of why physically disciplining a child is not effective.

You'd be amazed at what people will do under the pretense of parenting.
