if there is a mega that deserves a ban (which i think is ridiculous btw) it would definitely have to be kangaskhan. sure gengar's shadow tag is annoying, but practically any priority attack will kill it with its almost non-existant defenses. however kangaskhan can take a few hits and as le bello said before, it can compound effects on anything (it's still blowing my mind how long it took me to figure out power-up punch powers up twice lol!)

same here with my scizor, having pursuit on it has become a lifesaver since gengar and alakazam aren't an issue as long as i predict right.. not sure if gengar can survive a bullet punch from a regular scizor, but i always one-shot it with mega scizor's BP.
 
TTar Pursuit personally.
I like the looks on people's faces when they realise they're doomed to die to Pursuit so go for broke with Focus Blast only for it to be virtually ineffective.
Assault Vest Tyranitar is my new favourite special wall.
