The only thing that can be agreed is an open and loosely interpretative blanket statement that there are some benefits to owning a console. My reasons are different than you, but I recognize that console games have certain games not available on console, and I prefer using a pad for fighting games. Everything else I disagree with you and I never asserted that I did in any other manner.

Stop trying to pretend their is this fake subtle line of intellect that I haven't yet discovered

And in case you don't realize, part of being a mod is providing impartial assessment to what is being said. Its easy for me to remain objective and call out bullshit when I see it.
I'm not joining this thread because I think it is " fun". I'm doing so because false information is being stated (which is something you can quote me on earlier).

You're like a car driving who doesn't own a motorcycle, but you're here to talk about how great motorcycles are, under the pretense that you're trying to 'clarifying everything'. You've done a great job of posting nonsense without actually taking a firm stand on either side.

Case and point, you bought a console over a PC, that just killed any amount of credibility you had. Now if you were a PC exclusive player (or a hardcore one in general), then your opinion would matter, but seeing as you just jump ship, and throw your little shoes on board to say "well it's a good gaming platform" just makes your whole argument look pitiable.

I posted to a bunch of credible articles discussing about piracy and why PC get less exclusives, and why consoles have become mainstream. You've got nothing to argue about other than nit-picking nonsense about build costs / component quality. Now go build a gaming PC from scratch, all under $600 and let's see if you're as knowledgeable as you claim to be. Let's see it happen.

I never said I didn't have a PC. What do you think i'm using to browse the forums on ? My phone ? Its not rocket science that having a PC or a console is not mutually exclusive.

Are you getting confused with the fact that multiple people are arguing with you and you are getting your facts wrong ? So once again, you had no place to reply to me because you don't have your facts right.

Why else would I have been recently looking for decent bargains for PC parts? If you think that it is solely to prove you wrong, then you've got an inflated ego that doesn't seem to match your reputation. You seem so sure of yourself in your postings that it appears you have adopted a tactic where your response to being proven wrong is to "ignore and change the subject".

I think that the true "pitiable" action was when someone mouths off without knowing what they are talking about. Are you going to actively try to embarass yourself, or are you so beyond redemption that shame has no meaning to you ? Did you really think your $600 challenge through ?? You're the guy who posted the bracketed PC builds and now you want my help ? Its not that hard to place an order over the net to the many online computer stores. I'm sure you can borrow your parent's credit card or something.

Basically you have an ambition to establish some sort of reputation as a knowledgeable and persuasive debater when the truth is that you are poorly misinformed and not credible. I'm concerned with your insatiable appetite for being humiliated online. When your thought process matures then you'll realize what i'm pointing out to you. Maybe I should save you the trouble and just reply with a generic "get your facts right before a reply is warranted" but then I believe that forum goers should be given personal attention to keep the atmosphere of the forums more pleasant.

Just gonna be that guy who gives a simple answer as a gamer on all systems throughout the years.

Pc gaming is crazy fun if you have a good PC. With the fact there are many more options for mmo and rpg players I find myself playing on the computer a lot. With the fact its easy to stay in contact with friends on the pc using programs like skype and teamspeak it becomes a great system for community gaming. Because the potential for pcs is a massive amount you can find yourself lost in vast game worlds such as Tera online where the scenery is breathtaking and the world seems almost alive.

Consoles are fun because sometimes its nice to just sit back with a controller in a chair and play a good fighting game. I love fighting games but I never would want to play them on a pc and thats the main reason consoles have their purpose. Some games I just enjoy more playing on a console. And with the way consoles have other things such as achievements in games(which I know some pc games do) it becomes a fun way to enjoy games while seeing all of your effort through the history of games build up. Another plus to consoles is that you arent buying a new part every year just to play the latest games. You only have to buy a new system every time a new generation drops. Consoles also give you the ability to play locally with friends without needing an entire other system. Just split screen with another controller and you have hours of fun.

I do not see one as superior to other but instead being built for different gaming purposes.

No, I just want to expose you as a chef who won't even eat the food he cooks. You claim building a PC isn't complicated, and it's inexpensive, the exact opposite of what I'm saying. So in that regard, if you had any truths to your bold statements, then it'd be no problem for you to just build a gaming PC of yours own from scratch, and buy all the components cheap online.

That is unless.... You're just a glorified console gamer here to try and act like a pseudo-intellectual. Talk is cheap, go build one and show everyone how "simply" and inexpensive it is. I'm about 90% sure you've never built a gaming PC in your life and wouldn't even know how, so the whole debate on buying non-pre built platforms is pretty idiotic of you to even say.
