Teh Gheys Thread

ohey I have that too. It's pretty much harmless, but my tongue can get a little bit sore/swollen if I eat certain foods in excess, like anything citric (hence why I avoid wine and cider nowadays). Any soreness goes away on its own very quickly, but the condition itself is chronic. Just be watchful how much lemonade you guzzle in future.

Well if I stop using my current toothpaste and use one with no whitening agent, I might have a better time with it. Supposedly, whitening agents irritate geographic tongue.

That still makes me twice as clever as you.

You don't -have- to avoid wine, but if your tongue starts getting tingly after a while, then you'll know why: it's just hypersensitivity, not allergies. I simply prefer beer/ale/draught etc. over fruitier alcoholic beverages nowadays partly because I know my mouth 100% agrees with beer.
