What is An A Rank?

No, I am simply saying that most A ranks that I come across are almost always unimpressive and not anything special other than a nice shiny little badge.

That's not to say there aren't any decent A ranks at all, some people actually deserve credit for living to up the standard of play people expect from an A rank.

I don't care if they are A1 or E5, it's all about the player. I don't think any more or less if they have an A1 ranked badge like me, I've lost to plenty of E5 ranked badasses.

Only time someone needs to live up to something is when they have an insane W/L ratio like 2,000 wins 40 losses, either you're going to get destroyed, or they're going to rage quit. Which either way will be entertaining, lol! =D

Personally I wanted that A shiny icon next to my name (Which looks good btw :P)
but an A rank can mean..........someone who took time to play rank for the sake of getting better or maybe they thought it be a good challenge against the supposed spammers, RQs, or whatever, an A rank to them could mean they did it and thats a nice feeling

When I think of an A Rank, I think of someone who doesn't rage quit. Is a talented player, knows their character choices inside and out and always has good sportsmanship, win or lose a match. That is my opinion of an A Rank, and that is the kind of A Rank I strive to be.

Unless you're WarioGamer.

Personally, I don't care much about ranks in the game - I've blown up A1 ranks and gotten the shit kicked out of me by E5's. Its really about the player and how good they are themselves - the rank means little to nothing. I've seen A1s with 51% W/L ratios and E5s with like.. 80% W/L with over 2,000 player matches. Stuff like that makes me kind of ignore the ranks.

When you put it in that sense, that's not a bad way of thinking. I like it.
