I wonder if the reason is due to combos revolving the new power launcher,

Also, I kinda feel the current hp numbers are a little too low. It is pretty easy currently to get 50 percent combos off one guess. Certain characters, like the VF crew can get even larger numbers.

There were a couple Serah players on Xbox that REALLY knew how to combo juggle a 12 hit combo if they hit her low counter just right.. =P It did about 55-60% damage, so I agree.

I really like the game's risk / reward counter system, sure it's random at times, but at least it doesn't feel as annoying sometimes when you get tech bounced (or bounded) like in Tekken and put into a wall combo.

240 was the standard for the older games. We only got 270 now because most of the competitive community did not like the 300 life that DOA5 had when it first came out.

Personally, I think 40-50% of a long BnB is a pretty decent target, especially when you consider that the game has a (Marvel style) tag mode.
 
since they spent so much time on tag this time around then it better be 4 player co-op on PSN this time. so i can have some good fun like i used to in DOA4. those were damn fun times.
