PS4 Discussion

I honestly think your not willing to see the difference cause your upset w/ Microsoft for DRM. There is a difference and its noticeable. I've owned 2 ps3 and my bro has 3 of em in his house as I type this so I know what I'm talking about. There are plenty of members on this forum who have said exactly what I'm saying now. PSN is nowhere near as good as live.

To be fair though, its highly dependent on the actual games. First party titles generally have really good netcode, so the problem must be the difficulty of programming for the complicated hardware of the PS3.

And at least that issue is definitely fixed with the simple PC architecture of the PS4 (same core architecture as the X1 too).

Not this again reave lol

As many people have tried to explain to you countless times already, DRM always exists as long as online gaming exists, just like it is in the current generation with the online passes that EA is doing (and everyone "loves" them for it). A company that makes use of this model obviously hurts its own sales and reputation, which is the reason why so few make use of it.

M$ is getting shit on by everyone atm because they enforce this model as mandatory, which is the main point of the whole shitstorm.

I swear some people are resistant to logic.
Yes I'm resistant to logic when publishers can just do the same thing to PS4 games. Its was called a CD Key I believe. Only this key will be linked to an online account. I'd rather a unified front on it than a bunch of different studios coming up with better ways to turn a profit.

Anyway Infamous and Super Ponchos is tough. Every other exclusive was weak. I can't justify getting this as my first next-gen console unless they bring out something hot between now and tax return time.

now i'll be honest with you - my perception of XBOX ONE DRM, does not effect my perception of XBOX 360 XBL vs PS3 PSN. What my perception of DRM DID do, is make me feel the need to state my experiences to you.

I own 4 PS3's and 2XBOX 360's, my dad owns a 360, and my cousin, who i spent my childhood with growing up, owns 2PS3's and an XBOX 360. I guess i must know what im talking about as well, and alot of members of this forum feel the same way as i do.

Well while im pretty sure i know what im talking about, the above says nothing for my credibility other than i spend too much money rebuying the same gaming consoles over and over again. The same goes for you and your brother.

But anyways if you would like to continue this discussion, i would rather continue it in PM's. lets not clutter up this discussion.

also,
