It was just a possible scenario. Your reading into it too much. I mean EA has games on Wii U but don't intend to make anymore for them.
Lol i wasnt even referring to your post. I think when it games to Wii U thats solely because of the hardware though. When you want to make a game for Wii U you just cant simply port it like you could between X360 and PS3 - you need to make a completely new game. EA isnt up for that extra work.

For the same reason many games didnt come out on the first Wii.

Yeah I see I quoted the wrong post. EA said they'd have to spend too much money downgrading their games to put them on the Wii U. Honestly I saw that happening when I first heard about the console.

^ I was talking with a clerk at Gamestop today about EA and the Wii U and he said that the console couldn't handle the Frostbite 3 engine. Kinda sad when your brand new console can't handle an engine that is working on machines that are about to be replaced with newer models.

So has anyone found out how much the pay wall on consoles is gonna be with pre-owned games yet? The guy at Gamestop said that MS made a deal with certain retailers (GS is the only one he knew of) that lets them put the codes to play the games on your receipt for $10. I was wondering if that was the same amount you payed on the Xbox itself or if it was some kind of discount for getting the game there.

I heard that activation without a code was supposed to be shelf-price.
