I can see where you're coming from with that. ME1 was by far my favorite, and I was really disappointed with the lack of RPG elements in 2 and 3. But I still enjoyed both of them, and still consider them both to be some of the best current gen games.

And no, not in my case at least. I have a pretty nice laptop but it can't run high-end games very well. Besides, I only really like to play certain games on the PC, usually strategy games like Civilization. I don't like how most things handle with a keyboard. I know they sell USB controllers, but the two I bought in the past were terrible, so I'm sort of biased against getting another. I can see the merits of PC gaming, but I'll probably always prefer a console.

1) keyboard and mouse actually works suprisingly well for gaming, ESPECIALLY for shooters. i think you should give it a try
^-^
2) if you want good USB controllers just buy a wired xbox controller, official or third party(i prefer third party) or better yet if you dont mind looking for the PC-specific drivers, grab a wired PS3 controller(actually even a wireless PS3 controller will work here so long as you have a USB cable to connect it to your computer with...unless your computer has bluetooth. but mine doesnt so meh)
3) do not game on a latop. if you really want to do serious gaming on your PC, build yourself a rig. parts are getting cheaper and cheaper these days, you could probably build a rig like mine for about $800(obviously at the time i built mine it cost more than that, but prices have come down alot for the parts i used because now they are "outdated". i can still run everything with the settings maxed though, so who cares if its outdated or not? when i start having trouble running things, i can always upgrade later down the road.)it would probably be $900 if you get a jumbo case like what i got(its a giant 1ft wide by 2ft tall by 2ft long case thats made out of rubber and steel. because of it my computer weighs 70lbs fully built XD but at least i know nothing will ever break!)
4) building a computer is actually really easy. think of it as lego with a screw driver. and in reality you will honestly ONLY need a screw driver to build your computer. nothing more.

Guys, EA titles being Xbox exclusive would mean less sales for EA.

They'd never allow that.
They stopped supporting Nintendo. The new feature (from my understanding) basically means they get the profits from every single sale they make. Completely cutting out the used and rental markets.

Buying a gaming PC doesn't stop the "no used game" problem. Just saying...

well no it doesnt, and we never said it did. its just that if XBOX ONE(and later if sony actually makes the foolish decision to go out and follow them) it will essentially make buying a console pointless, when if you've gotta pay THAT kind of money, you could just dish out an additional few hundred bucks and build yourself a monster PC. without the ability to borrow and buy used games, there's practically no difference between PC and consoles, and PC's still, even with all of consoles fancy features nowdays, are still capable of more. I believe they call the ability to buy and borrow used games, the "console advantage" btw. to be able to have that advantage encompasses all of the reasons i would buy a PS4, and one of the reasons i wont buy an XBOX ONE, with the other being the long term negative effects of DRM. I've already got a monster gaming PC, i dont need a second, less capable and more restricted one. The worst part is not everybody has the option to go to PC like I do however, and I dont feel that they should be FORCED to compromise and comply, but looking at the price of consoles, if sony follows this route(which i doubt they will at this point, seeing how bad things are going for microsoft), it'll pretty much be just as cheap in the longterm to just build yourself a rig. that way not only do you have all in one entertainment - you have an all in one work machine, and you have a machine where you can customize every single part of it to your preference. Thats something consoles cant do.

To add to the EA not supporting the PS4 discussion, EA confirmed CoD: Ghosts for the PS3 and PS4:
Twitter / InfinityWard: Yes @Smithson89 we'll be ...

What was mentioned at X1 press conference, referred solely to a time-exclusiveness for CoD: Ghosts DLC (much like it is nowadays with PS3 and X360).

If you can trust in anything its EA being greedy. I wouldnt worry about titles still being multiplattform.

Activision is the publisher doing CoD games. I'm pretty sure the CoD: Ghosts will have problems on PC & Consoles, but not with the Xbox Done & 360 because ever since CoD 2 was a launch title for the 360 it was favored more on the Xbox platform because the 360 was the easiest platform to develop for and was poorly ported to every other system to make loads of money. Years and years people buy the same game constantly. By doing this Infinity Ward or Treyarch will not make a new engine. The engine for CoD: Ghosts isn't new at all & the next gen revolution is a lie don't believe CoD hype.
