Can anyone explain how you can know when a ground throw will work after you take the opponent down? (I play Tina mostly.) I'm sure sometimes it's just that I'm timing it wrong, though I suspect it depends on a lot more than that since there are certain moves I can always get the ground throw after in training, but maybe only half the time while actually fighting, meanwhile I can get some ground throws in actual combat that don't seem to be possible in training when your punching bag gets back up so fast.
I assume you set your opponent's wake-up to fastest, and aren't fighting online? Lag will screw your combos, and only some moves will reliably work into a ground throw. 6H+K is a good move to pick up ground throws with... which I really only know because it always works on me. Trust me, check out FreeStepDodge. They've got what you're looking for.
