Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

it's all just fun and games. of course its' all subjective.

(for ayane to even get to Pai the ninja would have to get past Pai's father and I don't think that's gonna happen. that dude scares even me.)

This dude?

Hmm... he does look scary! But bah... as Ayane would say: "Hmph, Don't Make Me Laugh!" >:D

Ayane would still emerge triumphant! And pffttt... why would Pai hide behind her daddy, does Ayane scare the l'il movie star...?

She's not hiding behind him. he's just looking out for her. like any father would do his daughter. (or should) and trust me. he can and will beat you with his hands behind his back cause he's that badass.

Can someone give me some knowledge on how to deal with ryu's hoppy bunny backflip retreating BS and "Dust" teleport mixups? I ate a ton of that crap the other day and I didn't know what to do about it.

Good Ryu players don't backflip into his Onigyn(sic) stance.

Most players who use the stance, tend to use the teleport attacks, of the three, two of them are linear and can be stepped. The other, the throw, can be ducked. Since you can pretty much see it coming, the idea is to step or duck. Usually the players will be pretty obvious when they do one or the other (and fail).

Other attacks from stance include a high elbow attack (ducking or stepping works), the low slide (stepping or guarding low), and the three hit strike. The three hit attack is mostly combo filler, but the hits track. Still they all hit mid and can be dealt with if you just block and hold the final hit (which can also be stepped).

Ryu's overall stance isn't bad, but it isn't good. Good Ryu players will make sure that the stance transitions are invisible before they mix them up. The really dangerous stuff is a three part throw and a special teleport hold that can lead to some nasty stuff. Otherwise, its fairly manageable - though annoying - to deal with.

So if you dont have the code it'd be 2 day online trial?

And if I got this in the PSN store and game shared it with someone, they'd need to buy the online pass too, correct?

But I see what you're saying it'd be better to buy the disc.
Thanks for replys and answers. :)

Buying new and on disc is generally the way to go, I rarely buy digital copies. However, the online pass is usually included with the game purchase as a separate 100KB or so download. Anyways, feel free to add me once you get the game. Don't worry, my Ayane is very "friendly" =D.

Darn, wish that Ayane's daddy (well her biological or foster dad) were still around so that Mr. Chan and Ayane's pop could have an epic duel to the death. Hmm... Genra or Raidou, who should it be...?
