sorry but you got it backwards, the first DMC games werent exactly a masterpiece but anything is better than this reboot's story, they are both cheesy, but the originals were meant to be cheesy, but they were entertaining. Dante always had a funny comeback to a boss trying to put him down and sometimes he would laugh at himself too. I mean who didnt want to see something try to Intimidate Dante but then fall flat on his ass because he had a clever comeback? Whereas this new donteh's best comeback is "FUCK YOU". Really NT? Thats the best you can come up with? It sounds like something a 6 year old online CoD player would say. Its cheesy but not entertainingly, it makes you want to rip your eyes out of their sockets. Also there was really no need to reboot the series because it was still doing good, DMC4 was amazing, maybe not as amazing as 3 but still a damn good game.

The Fuck you comeback is only once, and that was a response to a Fuck You. Have you played the game yet? Because it's funny as shit.

And no it isn't backwards. You're blind rage is laughable. This game has a story at it's front, the other games did not. This one actually tells it, the other games let the gameplay run through it.
You can be a blind DMC fan all you want, but the other games story and this games story is no contest for this DMC

HAve you not read anything i've said? New DMC's story isn't that good. HOWEVEr it's still far and away better than the original DMC franchises story. That's how unimportant and lame the old DMC games story was. The new games story is a joke, but this joke is still a few notches above trash.
And the fact the old story was bad doesn't matter. You're all acting like us saying the story was bad is truly surprising, when it's very well known that they were bad. But alas their story doesn't matter, because they were still great games. Well 2 1/2 of them were great. 1 was ass and the other half was alright.

And you haven't PROVEN anything. If you've proven it than there would be no place for an argument, but their is because you're wrong and you shown nothing for it. You've SAID things, backed them in no way what so ever and bashed on CoD players.
Is anyone here a CoD player? Where did that come from. Know what the last shooter i touched was? Halo 2 lol

*facepalm* i was comparing the new dunteh to a 6 year old cod player because thats what he is acting like in the entire damn storyline, you'd know this if you werent a damn idiot who can't read shit. The old DMC's story is better because its actaully something you can sit down and enjoy which brings us back to our original arguement, hell you yourself even mentioned the old dante was better but you contradict yourself by saying the new DMC reboot's story is better even though you think the main lead character is awful. And when you screw that part up, you already hit rock bottom. This reboot is trash, the old dmc's story is a joke but thats what it is supposed to be in the first place it was a joke but it was nontheless funny and entertaining for TENTH TIME I'VE HAD TO SAY THIS TO YOU AND YOU IGNORE THIS. So you would rather prefer something that would make you want to rip your eyes out of your sockets because of how bad it is rather than something you would get a good laugh out of? Ah i see, so you don't know to differentiate a story and a character. So you're an idiot.
A character does not make a story, and vice versa. A single thing doesn't make a whole, nor the other way around. The old Dante may be better but that doesn't mean ANYTHING for the overall story. The old story was a joke, and it was done so on purpose BUT It doesn't change the fact it was bad, only that it was done so on purpose and it doesn't matter.
These are all different things.
WHILE on the flip side the new DMC story is only FINE while being a tad more serious.
The new DMC story being FINE is still better than the old DMC story being a joke, whether or not they tried to make the greatest story ever. The new DMC story actually has character development, actually has true flow, actually has emotion. Hell it's got political propaganda.
The old DMC had an overall plot, and after that they just negated it until the end of the damn game. No real direction, no actual tension, no actual anything. BUT that was fine, that was part of it's charm.

That STILL means that the new DMC story is better though. HOWEVER in no way does that mean that the overall product is better.

In short, a character doesn't make a story, a story doesn't make a game, and the old DMC games have no story.

That's the equation here lol.
