My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Pinkie is not the only character influenced by a previous generation. There are other characters as well. As I was told by Pouncer here, in Lauren Faust's DA there are many more concept sketches of the mane six and others. It is obvious the many references of characters. But the character of Twilight Sparkle even had to be explained to me (by Pouncer artist/MLP collector) as a "Proto-Pegaister". I think that she (just like myself and Pouncer for example) grew up watching the series and collecting the toys from each generation. Why you see much of G3/G3.5 Pinkie and G1 Surprise in the current G4 Pinkie.
 
Your not the only one who is eagerly waiting for this game. I want to play "Rainbow Dash" be even more 20% more cooler. ;) I hope they make the characters have taunts, time-up, losing poses just like classic games such as:

XM:CotA = X-Men: Children of the Atom
MSH = Marvel Super Heroes

Fighting is Magic looks sooo legit for a fighting game. Awesome combos to be had! Inyoface Mugen!

Anyways, my favourite episode so far is the Wonderbolts Academy. I don't know what it is, but Rainbow Dash based episodes are usually my favourite even though I'm no athletic dyke. I can relate to her desire to be cocky and proud of her abilities I guess.

I have to catch episodes 8 and 9 when I get home from work tonight (if I am not too tired). It is up in the air about Rainbow Dash's preferences, I think she is Bi.

I can't wait for the game myself, I will be playing Twilight Sparkle. ;) Speaking of the game, Jaxel do you know if MLP: FiM game is still in alpha or they are in now beta development?

I am sure that either Jaxel or our brony friend Steel will know the answer to this. I'll give Steel a text now to see what he knows of the games development progress.
