In terms of tutorials, best for teaching system specific mechanics is still VF4. Best for teaching genre fundamentals that can be applied to other games is Skullgirls.

I'm still trying to figure out if the blade she is using was always that one blade that clung to the back of her waist. If it is, why is it bigger? ._.

I dont know, but she really fits into the game...so hmm next character maybe Hayate.
Then we have all the Ninjas in Ninja Gaiden(makes sense)
