The NEW Two and a Half Men (previous or current fans only)

They should have ended the show. They kept it going for two reasons.

1. To get back at Charlie. To not let Charlie win.
2. To keep making money.

They did it for the wrong reasons. They're not doing it for the fans.

wow what a cynical view. what makes you think they want to get back at Charlie? the way they referred to him in the beginning episodes was pretty genuine enough homage to the character of Charlie Harper and logical step on how Alan would cope with it.

Are you familiar with iCarly? Can you imagine them replacing Carly and continuing the show? But yea, we already knew that they had a dislike for Charlie after his comments that started all of this. Then he went on to say even more that enraged more people from the television company. Don't be fooled by fake politics. But hey, I'll leave it at that. I saw the post and thought I would put my two cents in. That's my firm opinion.

I can't stand iCarly, but I see what you mean. The show WAS written around his bad boy persona, but the world Charlie once inhabited has taken on a life of its own with this new brand of Two and a Half Men, delivering much more of those awkward sex jokes. *sigh* All politics are fake, and I could really care less now about what truly happened. There are many sides to the story like Charlie Sheen's declining interest in the show, not to mention his personal life falling apart before the whole thing errupted into a bigger problem. I'm highly familiar with his side of the story because of his interview with Piers Morgan, and as curious as I am about Chuck Lorre's, it's kind of a waste of time to look further into it. Know why?

BECAUSE I AM THANKFUL THE WHOLE FIASCO HAPPENED!!! If it hadn't, Charlie Sheen would have never started the new show Anger Management, which is a much better use of his talents than ever. I was only trying to savour the forced revival of Two and a Half Men, and as much as I respect the writers for trying to continue on without who they initially based the show around, Anger Management just offers so much more depth and hilarity that doesn't ALL have to do with sexuality. Anyone who misses Charlie Sheen so much, just watch Anger Management!

I like how sheen continues to look more wild eyed, insane and burnt out as time passes but he continues to find highly successful work. Anyone else carrying on like he has all these years would probably be in prison or destitute. The hilarity is that the guy is like a cartoon character, inexplicably indestructible. Meanwhile straight laced Emillio Estevez is forgotten by the public. Poor guy, thats gotta suck. I mean that makes me laugh and feel sorry for a person I don't even know all at the same time.
