Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

Guys who's harder to use akira or alpha? I like high execution characters so I probably use akira and just lol at every failed JF attempt. If i had tekken tag 2 then probably lei wulong would be one of my main chars

Edit: I mean alpha in sc5 not the alpha in dead or alive..I heard she was shitty or something

The high execution characters in DOA5 are Hayabusa, Akira, Brad and Lei-Fang. Gen Fu probably counts too, though I've never really played him. Akira in DOA5 seems a easier to learn on the execution side over his VF5, but he's difficult because his fighting style is fundamentally different from every character in the game. Perhaps the most difficult of Akira's moves is his guard break of doom which requires *precise* inputs and speed that you would not find on any other character in DOA5... and perhaps on any 3D game. It's guaranteed damage if you pull it off successfully and it crushes guards.

Hayabusa these days is a grappler, and while you can play him without having to use his special counter holds (and they're pretty difficult on the prediction/yomi scale) he's far more scary when you do. Learning Izuna Drops and how to get them off every time is an impressive feat and you'll get mad respect if you can do this consistently.

Brad is easy execution-wise, he's more challenging in the sense that you need a good memory to remember all his moves from all five stances (plus the he has a few that aren't listed). The guy has 200 moves total and you can probably get away with only knowing 25% of them, getting at least 2/3rds of them will prepare you for a lot mind games and tricks. He used to be low tier due to the fact that his stance transitions weren't safe. Even now, they're risky unless you've landed some hits on your opponent.

Lei-Fang has similar theme with Hayabusa. Although she focuses on holds and a new stance moreso than Hayabusa. She's a character that focuses on striking the opponent and reversing their attacks to create openings and pounding them for a lot of damage. I'm not sure how she is execution-wise, but knowing the timing of her special counter holds puts her up there as a challenging - if slightly less challenging than Hayabusa - character to learn.

I haven't tried any Izuna Drops in DOA5 but I would constantly spin the stick in the proper direction and press the button when I needed too. Worked 100% of the time.
