Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

So let me see, coming from someone who only played this game passingly during DOA2, but has played a lot of Tekken and SC, this is what it looks like:

Ayane=Natsu
Kasumi (or maybe Ryu?)=Taki
Eliot=Leo
Brad Wong=Lei Wulong
Gen Fu=Wang Jinrei
Rig=Hwoarang
Bass=Marduk/Astaroth
Tina=King
Leifang=Xiaoyu
Kokoro=Asuka
Hayate=Lars (or maybe Raven?)
Lisa=Jaycee
Christie=Nina
Zack=Eddie/Christie

Does that sound right, or am I totally confused? Do the characters who look and act like their counterparts in other FG's also play the same? Or is there no comparing DOA to other fighters? This Hold/Counter/Strike system sounds totally foreign to me.

I'm sure I'm gonna go all out Leifang when this game drops. I need a tag partner for her. I guess Kokoro seems like the obvious choice.

I don't know whether to be more excited for this or for TTT2.
 
Brad uses drunken fist exclusively so no animal styles mucking up the full on drunken awesomeness. They don't play exactly alike either or as far as DOA4 is concerned anyway since Brad Wong DOA5 footage eludes me.

Lisa is closer to Christie/Eddy but more of a wrestler type. I don't know who Jaycee is.

Kokoro and Asuka are completely different

Helena would be a closer comparison to Xiayou

Zack is closer to Bruce

Great comparison on Hayate and Lars lol.

Natsu and Taki don't really have a comparison seeing as though Ryu/Hayate/Kasumi actually mastered the art of teleportation. I guess maybe Kasumi only in the incredibly fast department.

Ayane would be closer to a 4AAAAA, 1AAAAA, FC3KKKKK spamming Yoshi lol.

While stuff maybe similar they operate very differently from characters in Tekken.

You should definitely be more hype for this.

Edit: I think good Tag partners for Kokoro would be Akira, Eliot, Helena, Hitomi and Lei Fang.
