I hope it's not a high school setting. I liked the whole fantasy setting. As for the Rebellion anime ending, I feel like I wasted my time. -_-''

Well, it wasn't actually an "ending" since there will be a second season in autum or winter.

Japan loves obvious masks to hide obvius indentities. Is the trope I hate most after "fake eyepatches" (those that only covers a magic or perfectly functional eye)

I thought Trigun did the eyepatch REALLY well because the chicks eye literally froze you when you saw it flashed at you. Naruto's Kikashi is pretty decent because he drains chakra while he uses it...
