Queen's Blade Thread

the opening was meh, it's the recurring epic theme that carried the weight. even the rebellion ova dvd trailer was using this music.

every time this plays, you get a feeling you are in for a grand adventure in a wide open world, and no matter what choice you make you know it's gonna be freaking awesome.

2nd EDIT: wtf how come this music wasn't in the anime? how come the fight scenes in this trailer were't even in the anime either? elina didn't do jack shit

Ya my expectations didn't exist, and it's still bad according to those expectations. And i watch everything, this falls under everything unfortunately.....
 
Sorry for the double post, but It was just announced that, a third series of books of the Queen's Blade franchise will begin soon. Series will be called Queen's Blade Grimoire, and it will take place in a paralel universe to the one we know. The only thing that we know about the plot is that it would include a "torunament" and a "new atmosphere"

Personally I don't like how "new atmosphere" sounds, I fear yet another japanese high scholl setting
 
I myself haven't kept up with the series since second season and ova. I personally like the hide and seek manga more. I don't like really like the newer character designs (new angel girl, izumi, etc. except the swamp witch.) I might give the rebellion anime a try, but I'll prob be disappointed.
