Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

Apologies for derailing the current of discussion for a moment, but have TN confirmed whether or not DoA5 will be at EVO?
 
aren't air juggles guaranteed combos? don't characters have more than one launcher? don't characters that get hit trying to counter suffer from a counter hit? why the complaints? please don't make this into another SC5 pre-launch discussion where people complain just cause they can. and negative feedback easily out weighs the positive. be glad you're getting a new DOA game at all. not like when the Bloody Roar community got the ultimate troll by being fooled into thinking a new Bloody Roar game was coming out for a while and then literally being told, "You've just been trolled."
 
you don't believe me? one example: there are no A+K except yoshi (whoop-di-do).

no A+K=stupified version of sequel.

second example: removal of low grabs except Asta.

No I don't see where your going. Most characters had one or two A+K moves and guess what a good bit of them are still in the game. They just changed inputs. Their where a ton of empty inputs involving A+B/B+K and a direction in SCIV. I always looked at it as a hassle from the beginning.

Leixia is not Xianghua so why should she have everything she had? Cassie and Rock aren't even in the game. The one actual character coming from SCIV who had low grabs still has them so what was your point here?

Your opinion is your opinion but don't confuse an attempt to tidy things up versus lets make it easy for the masses. I had an A+K bind so yes it was easy. If anything it makes the two characters with them in SCV more difficult to play. Personally I wouldn't trust using two buttons for a BE in clutch situations just because I need an A+K bind for one or two moves. It leaves too much room for error.

I mean you could have at least said the cut of Mitsurugi's relic stance but Mitsurugi doesn't even need the stance he has now lol.

No, no, no. People have said that for ages. It's not about getting a new game, it's about getting a quality new game. The one thing that SC5 should have told all of us is that it's about quality, not quantity, and if the game isn't a good game, we might as well not have a game at all. If you've looked at Dead Or Alive 5, as far as a fighting game goes, it looks amazing. The environments look like they've taken incredible amounts of work, thought, and everything else. DOA will likely bring back it's standard "Kitchen Sink and more" approach, and give players a ton of modes to work with. But based on everything but the fighting system, it had the potential to be one of the most fun/best fighting games of all time based on the strides they made outside the fighting system. And then they had an excellent fighting system...and messed up the fighting system. The complaints aren't to the game, per say, it's to the people that their bias and selfishness clouds attempts for balance. That's all.
