O hai dere!

This is obviously an intro thread :D
I'll start by saying that I was a nub that didn't know the age qualifications for the forum, so I'm actually just 14, not 19. (Ha! I'm a whippersnapper!)
I've been playing Soul Calibur since SCII for Gamecube (Link. Thats all I can say.), and the series hooked me from then. I never owned 3 =( but then I found out 4 came out and I attacked it with money! Played it a lot. A lot. and then after a somewhat long break, V came out! I was really ticked that Talim wasn't in, but Pyrrha is a fusion of my secondary (Sophitia!) and my third-best (Cassandra!) so I was relieved. And then I got Pyrrha O. and saw she was exactly like Sophy, so I now main her!

Anyways, my life is pretty lame and the highlight of my day is making an actual decent character. For whatever reason, all the characters I make are generally girls, unless they are P3 costumes I make. Im stuck with an Xbox, so I'll be using my ipod camera for snapshots T_T

Oh yeah, and I'm not sure what I would call myself. I mean, of course I want to be competitive about it and win all the time, but I never get big into frame-rates and air control and stuff like that. Maybe I secretly do that stuff and I never knew, but mostly I just try to make my own combos and find ways for them to fit. Oh, and I love create a soul so much, but I dont change height of characters so that the game can keep as fair as possible.

Why do you beat yourself up in an intro? Why are you letting yourself be those tragic fools?

Seriously. Ask for help and grow up a bit. Not everyone will extend to help your personal problems if you don't ask for help from those dear to you or peeps you can trust. I'm saying this because I'm showing concern as some online stranger. Being a gloomy fellow is not a healthy outlook in life.


As for the game ish on your thoughts? It's either you're casual or hardcore. No on here for the most part will shun you for being either since it's your choice. I may spend time doing hardcore talks on frames, but I never forget casual enjoyment that is CAS.

My question is do you want to be the casual or hardcore? Or would you like to be both?

Anyways, pleasure to meet you and hope to see you around......just no more negativity. Think positive my friend, you're not out on the streets, crippled or in any other misfortune.

Feel free to ask for help on anything you're stuck on.

Oh, and for help, this has been bugging me for so long. I know you can do grabs with A+G or B+G, but how do you do just "Left throw" or "Right throw"? I'm using an Xbox controller, by the way.
