[Viola] is not that good in my opinion, people don´t know yet how to properly defend against her though...
OMG YES. FINALLY, someone who realizes that Viola's illusion of "overpowered-ness" comes more from everyone's lack of knowledge of how to defend against her rather than from Viola actually being overpowered.

Viola has too many weaknesses to logically be considered overpowered. And even with her still currently being shrouded in mystery, we're still not seeing any sort of epidemic of Violas winning tournies. And her chances will only get LOWER from here on out as people understand more and more how to deal with her.

Either way, I am proud to have been on the Viola train LONG BEFORE this game even came out. From the moment they released her character trailer, I was dead set on being a Viola player regardless of where she fell on the tier-list. Fuck all you post-patch bandwagoners who give Viola a bad name and contribute to the stereotype that she's overpowered.

Exactly. I've always wanted to believe that people aren't all that whiny or stupid, so I'm constantly stunned when I hear cries about overpoweredness and patches about a game/metagame in its infancy.

People cried "overpowered!" with Hugo in SFxT, but weeks later when they learn how to play against him, people realize he's not as hard to deal with as they had originally thought. This happens all the time in fighting games, so I KNOW that those who cry for these balance changes haven't been in the scene for long, or lack insight.
