Yeah...and the exact same thing happened to thugish the last time he went to France; people are going to cheer for who they want to win. The commentators could stand to be unbias but that doest mean they can't have favorites. This is lp btw.

I am strongly against commenatators showing their affections for the players. It looks stupid and unsportsman. All this "America" shouts etc... when Kura played in Finals of USA Nats all crowd was against him, now Keev and Kayane play in finals and commenators root against them all the time. This just looks dumb. Stop pls.

There is nothing wrong with commentators rooting for their home country. In fact, the USA VS France rivalry is probably the BEST thing we have going for us in this community. Embrace it, LOVE IT.

Except when rooting for your home country crowds out actual interesting commentary. Bibulus did an AMAZING job the entire tournament of providing detailed, exciting and insightful comments on the games being played and then in the finals it devolved to Team America: World Police impressions.

It's a shame that this thread has already devolved into picking apart the commentators. There was bias. We aren't the NBA, yet. So what. Some people are never going to be happy, and some people are only happy when they are complaining.

I don't know. What I seen was the players being all stars and the commentators making it real. That is always enchanting to see, considering this game and its roots. That moment stands out more for me than the chicken squabbling that's going on here. Ya'll should shut up and be happy, for once, goddamn.
