sound issue

hello all,

recently the sound o n my game has gone bonkers. the BGM and sound effects are fine, but the announcer's voice and character quips before and after matches are way too quiet and dont seem to be working properly. you can hear them just barely, but its like a mouse's voice and sounds slightly distorted. all my settings are default and i have surround sound, i have no idea what is going on, plz help!

Sounds like something is not communicating right with your surround sound setup. Double check that all wires are in the right places and firmly plugged in. (sometimes you get unusual quietness if a wire is slightly loose) Then double check the settings for your speakers and console. If you're still getting problems, you may have a bad wire somewhere. Listen closely to each speaker and make sure that sound is fully coming out of each one.

solved the problem about a week ago doing basically what you said, but nevertheless thank you for the response and help. much appreciated
