Does it really take up that much space? Going to need some serious compression to upload something of that magnitude, no?

it does. i got the compression thing down. it's just going to take a good little while depending on how long the stream is. I'm cleaning up my terabyte external hard drive right now. shoot. i need to figure out how much video time you can upload her on 8WR. that's also gonna take a while too. i'll be able to give a more precise time estimate after I see how long the stream is.
