Even then I am not so sure. The only game I played from cc2 that was not naruto, was .hack. Great exposition but I do not believe the story itself was good.

You can play both, it's the same person but they are different at same time : one is normal and the other is dark, and they have different fight styles.

As I said, why do Raphael and Nightmare have so much in common ? Same size, same blond hair, same eyes, and Nightmare pretended to be a noble to the Emperor. I don't think it's impossible.

you know I can actually see this as a possibility. Is Raphael actually Count Sorel? This would fit with the whole Nightmare calling himself Graf (Count) Dumas. Siegfried and Nightmare split from one another what if Raphael did the same?

If anything though Nightmare also might know Raphael if the Count of Monte Cristo (Graf Dumas) reference is to be used perhaps this Nightmare wishes revenge against Raphael for something in the past...this would make Viola important to the story since the new nightmare would be after her possibly for revenge.

I personally don't think Raphael and Nightmare are the same person but I could definitely see it as possible.

If anything I still believe the New Nightmare to be Hilde's father.

Complex it seems, but is it good? We shall see.

My best guess is that Patty and Zwei are in the same garrison/platoon/team (whatever it may be). This would cause a dual story line between these characters who do what they do for their country. However, they would have their own agenda. From what I can guess, it looks like siggy is a mentor of some sort.

Did anyone notice on the 29th picture that Patty is in a bamboo grove? This means that he is gonna fight one of the asian mainland characters in that chapter. I wonder who...

The idea is sound, however, they already said who the new nightmare is. It is rudolph. Which makes sense. He uses the armies of the holy roman empire to spread his grasp all over the world. Then, using the power of soul edge, consumes the world in his dark grip.

Wait a second....CHRONICLES OF THE SWORD! How did I not see this before?! This is the same story.

You do realize what the word ingratiated means correct?

The official profile for Nightmare says the following;

"Relationships: Ingratiated himself to Rudolf II, the Holy Roman Emperor, as Graf Dumas. He lords over the malfested minions of the cursed sword as his personal soldier". link: http://apps.facebook.com/soulcaliburchar/nightmare

ingratiated (to gain favor with) means that he has gained favor. He has gained favor with Rudolph II and has been given the name Graf Dumas by the Holy Roman Emperor.

Nightmare is in no way Rudolph. They've never said that is who he is and in his profile Rudolph is a separate character. Where does this ignorance of people believing Nightmare to be Rudolph come from? inability of people to read.
