I like how people are talking about how bad shooters are but really they just want to complain about MW3. I don't think anyone has defended CoD yet, so I think it's obvious all the "shooters" that have ruined the genre are coming mostly from one producer...

Good topic....games like Fallout 3/New Vegas and Mass Effect comes to mind when I think about it .

Mass Effect isn't a first person game whatsoever, and Fallout 3 and NV lean more on first person RPG elements then they do on action shooter elements.

I thought the single player for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was good. I was speaking about the genre as a whole, but I can tear apart Battlefield 3's campaign if you like.
