The JG is still highly in need of personal testing to draw solid opinions. We need to know how much frame advantage this gives for starters, how tough it is to time, can all strings be 'red parried' now or only one's that don't jail, and will the opponent have options in the strings to help neutralize it such as more moves with +frames on block?

The concern is valid, but we need those answered first. Think of it like SF3 and how their are counters to parries with the only dif being early attempt is guard while in SF3 you get hit because you're holding forward.

Uh, Sophie, since you used that example, is -7 on a blocked AA, -6 on a blocked BB.

And Taki is at disadvantage even on AA counter hit

Are you guys high? If you're losing to AA and BB spam, barring horrific lag, you must not be a very good player.

-7 is SAFE. -8 is SAFE. Beeing at disadvantage is still SAFE.

the point is that it's a demo that will turn into the real thing pretty soon. so people should be whining NOW and make Daishi see that he might be on a questionable track with this one.

they have been working on the mechanics for quite some time already and it will be more and more problematic to undo the mechanic changes and substitute a better one as time progresses, so we should notify them as early as possible that we see lots of problems with his innovations. because they asked us to, that is.
