It's not a new idea. Even if it is what it advertises hell if it does anything though. The English actually used to ingest ground up mummies. (Take that colonial era Egypt!) They'd mix some powdered mummy into their tea thinking this gave them some of the dead person's vigor, vitality and virility. (and since mummies are stiff, hey why not say it cures impotence too, right?) They called it "mummia" and I wish to God I were just making that up.

In any event if these really were "dead baby pills" it'd be pretty monstrous and also utterly pointless. A dried stem cell is a dead stem cell and ingested probably has the restorative properties of fish food.
There exists the possibility however that they are placenta pills and this is being reported all wrong. There are certain alternative medicine traditions and practitioners of such even in America, who if asked will prepare a placenta into capsules for you, provided that you know, you actually own said placenta. Again, I wish I was kidding but some people swear by it.
