P90X results: This stuff really works

Hi folks, i guess i am entering the P90x 8 wayrun "club". ^^

So i bought this 12 DVD-set fitness program, watched the first two disks and i want to know some thing first from people who have some experience with this stuff before i really start.

First, do i really need b-lines, a pull up bar and dumbbells? And is a 10 kg dumbbell any good for beginners? ´Cause i am a complete! beginner. Not fat though, but the last time i visited a gym was... like 10 years ago.

And i don´t have the nutrition plan... Is that bad ´cause i mean is the diet important? And what about supplements...?

A mat is a must, right? And do i really need a heart-rate monitor?

And finally... Which DVD´s programs are the best and in which order should i watch them? And can i skip yoga?

Sry for all the questions, but it would be really nice if someone could answer those questions ´cause like i said... I am a "fitness-noob".
You don't need resistance bands but pull up bar and dumbbells are a must. You should definitely buy adjustable weights because 10kg will feel too light after some time and you will have to buy heavier ones. Or even better a set of weights (from 5kg to 25kg) if you don't wanna waste time on adjusting the weights in between the workouts. I never used any mat or heart rate monitor.

Also, I thought the nutrition plan comes with the dvd set? as well as training schedule. There are many workouts, it depends on your goal. There's p90x classic, p90x doubles and p90x lean. Classic is the default one, lean is mostly cardio and doubles is the same as classic with more cario workouts (the hardest one I think). You should start with either classic or lean, never doubles (unless you wanna die xD)

lol yoga I always used to skip, but Shogun will tell you that you shouldn't do that. I personally hate yoga! (at least the first 45min of it)

Oh hi there Ring, thanks for your respond. ^^

So a pull up bar and weights are a must you say... But i think i have problems to use the pull up bar(don´t have the space for it). And rather a set of weights... OK sounds good.

And i have just the 12 DVD-set(from chest & back to AB-Ripper X plus the "how to bring it DVD), but no nutrition plan. But it was worth it, i hope(money-wise). ;)

And there is classic, lean and doubles... OK.

I don´t know if i like Yoga or not. Still have to watch it.

Will see what i can do, but more questions over the next few days are quite possible. Hopefully i won´t get on anyones nerves.

jag...pm me a gmail or aim account and i'll send you a .PDF of the nutrition plan and all the supplemental program pamphlet crap. i have it all saved to one pdf file.
