really? even a revamp combo system? Mortal Kombat started using "ultras" with their meter management, why not SC5
Well I gotta admit, don't like the fact that they added a meter at all, but 'progress' blah blah ><
I think it just bugs me because you're taking a lot of the spirit out of the game then. There are a million games with really open systems that allow for long combos, and there are a thousand games that have flashy cinematic supers. The combos I think are actually a detriment (given that rant before, they value labtime vs actually playing others, and make the game substantially more lag-sensitive), and cinematic supers can really break the flow. SC5 essentially has supers with camera angle changes in the version we're seeing now. Making them more cutscene-y would just slow everything down.
