Im not gunna sit here and defend my view point. I dont like this bill for many reasons. What I want to know is who wrote this bill, who are thier contributors , and who gains from this if the bill passes.

But yes, it would require 10 offenses. But look how many vids went up from CEO alone.

Of course, whether you are chargeable or not depends on how much the license would cost.

So the government is expected to be tabulating what the estimated fair market value is on theoretical earnings towards the copyright holders on suspicion of profit for possibly infringing material? (Bearing in mind in some cases licenses might not even exist) Sounds like a fantastic waste of resources. Hypothetically speaking. I have to wonder how strictly they could expect to enforce this law. Probably more the threat of it meant to deter people than anything. Probably wouldn't bother the average small-fry though. I doubt they'll run the tab up for every amateur music video they see.
