Is anyone good with computers?

My fiancee had this exact same virus. I cleaned it out using Malwarebytes in Safe mode, no problem. The virus doesn't affect safe mode thankfully. She got it by browsing websites and got it from one that you never would have suspected, a website for wedding purses.

Probably from the ads. They are the bane of computer security these days. I highly recommend adblock and Flashblock.

HogisGuy, did you go through all the steps I listed? Combofix should take care of just about anything. Could you post up the text file it generated after being run?

YES THAT'S IT! I must've got it from that ad i accidentally clicked yesterday on thatguywiththeglasses.com

Edit: Yes i did go through everything but it didn't work. I tried to visit Combofix link but the site was plain empty. Again, thank you for your help

I'm really sorry if this is a dumb question but i'm not that good with computers but how does this safe mode work and how can i use it?
