THE Halo Thread

The Halo 1 remake had me excited... until I heard that the multiplayer is just Halo Reach multiplayer, with Halo 1 levels... which immediately doesn't make me care anymore. I want the Halo 1 engine in my multiplayer, not the Halo Reach engine.

Well, except when I had to play on Backwash. :[

Never played Halo 1, but I'm looking forward to the remake so I can play with my buddypalfriends. :3

Because that way it'd bring back the real competitive multiplayer! Timing the powerups and grenade tricks is what made it halo 1! Also the double melee which you actually had to aim!

I don't understand how you think Bungie NOT making it automatically makes it worse. You DO know there is a possibility, even if it's a small percent chance, of it being so much better than any other Halo? Besides, Bungie had a knack for trolling the shit out of us (still is). "Oh you want this, here, have this instead, which is nothing close to what you wanted in the first place."

Doomsayers, I say, the lot of you. Though, I can't say I'm surprised, look at all the speculation on SCV being crap and we've barely seen anything. :3

While what you say is true and all, I prefer to set my standards low on speculation and stay adamantly positive. That's my humble opinion.
